Truckee River Fishing - September 2018

Finally got out.... The Truckee section I fished was slow. Maybe the cold water change from warmer water? Anyway, got at least some fish, can't complain! A bit of a warm up before my trip to Idaho/Montana next week. The gale force winds made fishing very difficult.

The relatively short section between the two dams/spillways in the canyon is not the best section to fish. I think the fish populations are lower than elsewhere, and the fish smaller. Beautiful scenery though.
