Cottonwood Lakes, Fishing
About a 5 mile hike up the mountain at 11,000 feet. It was very cold and ice was forming in the guides of my fly rod. Fish were sluggish with the cold water but I manage 3 fish in a few hours. I got up there too late and ended up having to use a flashlight on the return trip down the trail with bears around. Incredible scenery and one of the best day hikes to be able to fish for wild Golden Trout. Very popular trail for hikers & fishermen. Still working with the new camera (Sony ZV 1) and its kinks. Image looks very sharp and I am pleased with it but the stabilization is just ok, not good, so I will have to be more careful while moving/filming. Comments are closed.
