Fished the Gallatin in the middle section near Big Sky. Tons of fishermen out, but there was lots of access along the road. Not known for having large fish, but great wade fishing for lots of smaller fish. A lot of the fishing scenes from "A River Runs Through It" was filmed along the Gallatin near Big Sky. Just about every pocket of soft water had a fish in it. Water was very clear and moving surprisingly fast. It rained periodically and the fall Baetis were out here and there.

Love you videos. Just fishing! I have your nymphing dvd. I really like it. Are you planning on any winter fishing videos on east walker, Truckee, or any other local streams?

Thanks Mic! I am not planning on any winter fishing on the Truckee or EW, but I do plan on fishing the Lower Yuba for the first time, in Jan/Feb.
