Saw one of your videos fishing the Madison. I will be there mid September, do you have any wading location recommendations. ( not too strenuous, 66 years old) Greatly appreciated.
Thanks Terry

Hi Terry,
I would recommend the east bank downstream from $3 bridge. The water is great there and I think it is probably the easiest wading on the Madison. I would get there early in the morning though, as it is one of the most popular spots on the river. The west bank is slightly tougher to wade (I found there were more bowling bowl boulders on that side) but is still ok. The water level is a little down this year so that should help a lot. Upstream from $3 is decent wading as well, except once you get to the Slide Inn area. Good luck on your trip!
